Getting Started

Quality nutrition and physical activity can ensure young children have a great start in life. Alabama Healthy Kids, Healthy Future provides training, technical assistance, and resources to early care and education (ECE) programs, encouraging educators to promote healthy habits to the children and families they serve. AL HKHF trainings offer information to educators about engaging with families and encouraging families to bring concepts shared in the classroom into the home.

AL HKHF also provides information and resources upon request to families with young children looking to learn more about adopting healthy habits, including information on nutrition, physical activity, breastfeeding & infant feeding, and more.

Alabama Healthy Kids, Healthy Future is a program of the Alabama Partnership for Children, which offers a variety of programs serving children ages 0 to 5 and their families. To learn more about the programs offered by the Alabama Partnership for Children, please visit the Alabama Partnership for Children website.
