STEM Sprouts: Interactive Learning Through Farm to ECE and Gardening Experiences

Participants will learn the value of early STEM and gardening experiences and gain hands-on, creative strategies for incorporating these concepts into classroom activities through gardening demonstrations and role-play practice. Early childhood educators and trainers will also learn how to integrate gardening, food and farm education, and local food purchasing into early learning environments using the Alabama Foods from A to Z Toolkit.
