The Healthy Kids, Healthy Future team is now scheduling trainings for the 2026 calendar year! We offer engaging sessions for child care centers, home based programs, and home provider associations—perfect for in-service days, professional development days, or a time that works best for your team. Depending on the training, sessions can be offered in-person or virtually.

Early childhood programs across Alabama join a six-month community to explore Farm to ECE best practices, earn professional development hours, receive resources, and access funding to bring local foods into your classroom.
In this training, participants will learn how to bring gardening experiences, food & farm education, and local food purchasing into early childhood classrooms using the Alabama Foods from A to Z Toolkit.
