The Healthy Kids, Healthy Future team is now scheduling trainings for the 2026 calendar year! We offer engaging sessions for child care centers, home-based programs, and home provider associations—perfect for in-service days, professional development days, or a time that works best for your team. Depending on the training, sessions can be offered in-person or virtually.

Yogapalooza – Helps early care and education programs use yoga and mindfulness to promote self-regulation, coping skills, and active play.
Alabama Foods A to Z Toolkit – Provides early childhood programs with lessons and activities that teach young children about locally grown foods, including how they grow, nutrition facts, fun facts, and ways to use them in engaging activities.
Alabama Breastfeeding Friendly Child Care Certification – Equips child care providers with the knowledge and tools to support breastfeeding families and implement practices that foster a breastfeeding-friendly environment.
Physical Activity Learning Sessions (PALS) - Learn fun and creative ways to bring physical activity into early childhood classrooms.
Child Nutrition - Provides early care and education providers with practical guidance on topics such as children’s nutritional needs, family-style dining, positive mealtime practices, and fostering meaningful meal time conversations.
A certificate of attendance will be provided for each training. In addition, we can provide resources to support program implementation (limited availability).
